While official medicine calls for the removal of 'damaged' or 'faulty' organs in our bodies, a study that has brought about a major shift in the knowledge of the long-term effects of tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy calls into question these operations, which are undergone by almost half a million in the US each year children.

If you were born in the US some 50 years ago, you or someone you know would very likely have had a tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy. I experienced it too. While I was attending kindergarten, my adenoids were removed, because I suffered from severe forms of bronchial asthma - several times a year I needed urgent medical attention, sometimes even three times a month. Adenoid surgery was allegedly performed to 'unblock' sinus congestion. But after that my symptoms got worse. At about 16, I needed another sinus surgery due to congestion, this time for sinus polyps and deviated septum.

Although the number of these surgeries has been decreasing in recent decades, tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies are still the most commonly performed surgeries on children around the world. Since the first recorded cases of these operations, the risk-to-benefit ratio has always been questionable, but a recently published Danish study seems to have finally weighed against this 'standard medical procedure'.

According to "A Brief History of Tonsillectomy", the tonsils are lymphatic organs located at the entrance to the respiratory and digestive systems; their inflammations prompted the development of surgical procedures known for some 3,000 years. Usually due to inflammation and infection, they are removed in childhood - most often before puberty - despite the fact that they are organs of the immune system that protect the body from other types of infection. Each year in the US, more than half a million tonsillectomies are performed on children under the age of 15.

As a standard procedure on children with various difficulties related to the ear, throat or nose, it is an understatement to say that tonsillectomies are prescribed far too often. Tonsils are often removed to prevent recurrent infections, not as a last resort for recovery in rare and extreme cases. The same applies to adenoid surgeries. Doctors who blindly follow standard medical trends fail to fully inform parents and, in addition, seek their consent - thus parents are incompletely informed about the risks and limitations of these "routine" operations. Such an unquestioning climate poses still unknown risks for the long-term well-being of millions of children around the world.

A study from June 2018, conducted on over a million children in Denmark, convincingly argues against tonsillectomies that are performed so lightly. It is the first study on the long-term effects of tonsillectomy; researchers from the University of Melbourne in Australia and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark studied the medical history of 1.2 million children from 1979 to 1999. Of the total number of children, 11,830 underwent tonsillectomy (surgery of the tonsils), 17,460 had an adenoidectomy (surgery of the adenoids, lymph glands located above and behind the tonsils that protect against infection), and 31,377 of them had a combined procedure where both tonsils and adenoids are removed . There were no other serious health problems in that target group of children.

Data from a 20-year period were analyzed: it began to be observed when the children were less than 15 years old until their thirties; the range of obtained data enabled insight into long-term health indicators. dr. Sean Byars, one of the lead authors of the study, says: "We calculated the risks for disease depending on whether adenoids, tonsils, or both were removed in the first 9 years of life - at that time, these tissues are most active for the development of the immune system."

Results published in the journal The Journal of the American Medical Association Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery convinced scientists that it is necessary to 'reevaluate alternative approaches', which would replace standard procedures that are too often prescribed. According to these experts, operations to remove the tonsils and/or adenoids significantly affect the future state of health. It has been shown that the risk of developing asthma, influenza, pneumonia, chronic bronchitis and emphysema is almost tripled in children who have undergone tonsillectomy. With adenoidectomy, along with tonsils removed, there is a more than 4-fold increased risk of developing allergies, inflammation of the inner ear and sinuses.

Researchers admit that tonsillectomy can help in the short term to reduce ear, throat and nose infections, as well as their associated side effects, but when looking at the long term it seems that these gains are short-lived and that in the long term they do not reduce difficulty breathing, as well as chronic sinusitis – the two most common reasons for tonsillectomy.

On the contrary, the risks for the mentioned difficulties were either significantly increased, or not significantly different compared to children who did not undergo tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy. Shockingly, unrelated health problems, such as some skin diseases, eye and parasitic infections, were 78% more common in adults who underwent the aforementioned surgeries compared to adults who still had tonsils.

Researchers assume that these glands are a kind of protective barrier that prevents bacteria and viruses from attacking the sensitive tissues of the lungs and throat. The placement of these glands allows them to purify the air we breathe in that vital intersection that connects us to the outside, often inhospitable world. Given that the study showed a significantly higher risk for more than 28 diseases, do its results show that these seemingly insignificant glands play a more important role in the immune system than previously thought?

According to Dr. Byers, it is clear that these findings, at the very least, encourage us to delay these surgeries until the child's immune system is fully developed. It is also clear that entrenched medical views need to advance and overcome the view that our internal organs work in isolation and that "defective body parts" can simply be removed without affecting the organism as a whole. "As we discover more and more about the role of immune tissues and the consequences that operations on these tissues leave for life - especially during the sensitive child's developmental age - this will hopefully help parents, as well as doctors, when deciding how to treat children." said Dr. Byers. Medical science must apply these new knowledge as soon as possible, so that future generations of young people do not suffer because of current wrong attitudes, which have traditionally taken root. As for my experience with having my adenoids removed at the age of 6, I suffered from non-stop recurring asthmatic attacks for over a decade. This required emergency interventions and, as I said, sinus surgery at a young age to correct the worsening sinus congestion. What I experienced confirmed the results of this study: this procedure, generally speaking, worsens a person's health in the long run. It should also be said that official medicine routinely recommends that these organs be removed, as "standard procedure". For example, in the text "Beware of Organ Removal for “Cancer Prevention”: Jolie's Precautionary Tale,”[1], I exposed the media article about the decision Angelina Jolie to remove her breasts (and later her ovaries). Namely, they predicted her "death sentence", because she has a BRCA1/2 gene mutation. Leading world media inflated her story and portrayed her not only as a wise woman, but also as a heroine. Under the influence of wrong and aggressive actions of supposed screening against cancer, millions of people, due to the fear of death, decide to remove organs such as thyroid, breast and prostate through routine operations. This is recommended to them by 'medical prognosticators', who are, unknowingly, contemporary soothsayers and sorcerers; namely, many of these so-called 'carcinomas' are actually benign epithelial lesions, as confirmed[2] by the National Cancer Institute. I hope that studies like this one will contribute to debunking medical misconceptions about disease risks and that the precautionary principle will be applied alongside the basic medical ethical principle: "Do no harm". This principle should be re-established as the main guideline when we define what "standard procedure" is.

In order to make an excellent prevention for your child, we suggest that you adhere to the healthy lifestyle described below:

1. Drink a sufficient amount of non-carbonated clean water (we recommend a reverse osmosis filter that can be purchased from us), freshly squeezed juice or herbal tea daily (kg of body weight: 30 and that is the minimum) For example, if you are 60 kg: 30= 2L. Therefore, you should drink 2 liters of water throughout the day.

If you have a small urination at night and it deprives you of normal sleep, drink the last water until 18, 17 or even 4: 00.

2. Exercise at least 3 times a week (sweat during training), let children play in the fresh air as much as possible.
Do strength exercises, cardio (aerobic) training and stretching exercises (for adults).

3. Breakfast in the morning: a variety of seasonal, preferably organic fruits, seeds (sunflower (not fried or salty) or flax (not ground) or whole sesame or chia or pumpkin seeds...) or a handful of nuts (almonds or walnuts or hazelnuts or cashews) try to find in the shell), 5-8 tablespoons of peeled oats or barley that has been left overnight in the fridge in a cup of water. You can season the fruit salad with a spoonful of honey or agave syrup and, if desired, a little ground cinnamon.
In the morning, strain and rinse it well and then mix it with the other ingredients. Cereals are not cooked!

5h after breakfast lunch: various seasonal organic raw vegetables with sunflower seeds (not fried or salty) or flax (not ground) or whole sesame or chia or pumpkin seeds...) or a handful of nuts (almonds or walnuts or hazelnuts or cashews try to find in the shell), cooked legumes (beans or lentils or chickpeas or peas or beans or broad beans ...) and cereals (wheat or hulled oats or barley or rye or buckwheat or millet ...). The salad can be seasoned with cold-pressed olive oil, raw garlic , onion and spices (rosemary, basil, hot parika....).

5h after lunch dinner: only fruit or nothing.

Mandatory : during meals do not drink any liquid only after 1-2h

4. Take enough and timely rest (no later than 9:00 p.m.) and in complete darkness.
If the room you sleep in is not completely dark, get a sleeping bag.
The link can be obtained in DM. If you have trouble sleeping, have one of your family members massage you before going to bed and increase the amount of physical activity during the day.

5. To be exposed to sunlight for 1 hour a day because of vitamin D.

6. To be in the fresh air every day.

7. Avoidance of all toxins (coffee, green tea, black tea, cigarettes, drugs, chemicals, alcohol, refined sweets...) If you get a headache when you stop drinking coffee, you should increase your fluid intake by 0.5L or even 1L + of course your the minimum you need to drink every day (see item no. 1) and the headaches disappear very quickly. If it is difficult for you to give up coffee, drink grain coffee Divko and similar.

Do not put anything on the skin that is not edible(creams, makeup, lipsticks, deodorants, antiperspirants, etc.)

9. Find a job that fulfills you and makes you happy and try to improve interpersonal relationships (forgive all people who have offended you or harmed you)

10. Daily surrender your life into God's hands through prayer in the solitude of your room
and not to worry about things that you have no influence on (If you are a believer. If you are not, start because it is for your health)

11. In the case when the tonsils are already swollen, we suggest drinking freshly squeezed juices, pure water, herbal echinacea tea and formulas for Throat,Echinacea for children and Super vitamin C.
