Chances are high that you have already drunk this abomination with it
Nothing can be done to filter these attacks out of the coffee because they simply 'merge' with the beans
Many people can't imagine starting the day without coffee, but after this discovery, some might give up that sweet morning habit. All those who buy ground coffee could now find themselves in a gabula.
Have you ever experienced an allergic reaction after freshly brewed coffee at home? An explanation might make your life miserable? Namely, it seems that you are not allergic to caffeine or coffee as such, but to an unexpected ingredient that will give you goosebumps.
If you make coffee from industrially ground beans, there is a good chance that you will also consume some ground cockroaches, reports Mirror. University professor of biology Douglas Emlen was the first to conduct research on this topic.
He was encouraged to do so by his professor's assertion that he only drank coffee from machines in cafes. Mljevena did not cross his mind because, as he told him, of the danger of cockroaches. After years of teaching entomology and researching insects, Professor Emlen became allergic to cockroaches, which he often held in his hands.
He could no longer touch a cockroach without having an allergic reaction. The same thing happened to him when he drank coffee made from ground beans. When he studied the link, the professor discovered that ground coffee is made from huge packages that are often infested with cockroaches.
It is similar with chocolate
Emlen explained that nothing can be done to filter these attacks from the coffee because they simply "merge" with the beans. Already feeling nauseous? There's more! dr. Emlen adds that American standards allow coffee to contain as much as 10 percent insects.
And now the real "bomb" is yet to come. Namely, chocolate, which is made from cocoa beans piled up in huge packages, has a similar fate. We just finished our coffee and chocolate, how about you? Another thing to pay attention to is the color of the roasted coffee beans. Unroasted coffee is pastel green, and black after roasting. Imagine roasting potatoes until they turn black, would you eat them? The same happens with coffee. When it is fried at such a temperature, the grain structure is damaged, it turns black and carcinogenic acrylamide is formed. For years, coffee merchants did not want this to be known, until a fortnight ago, when judge Elihu Berle from California intervened and forced coffee sellers to put a public warning about its harmfulness on the bags - points out prim. Dr. Petar Borović.
Caffeine and cancer
It is thought that over 90% cases of cancer could be prevented if we applied what we already know about cancer prevention.
For decades, tobacco use has been linked to the development of cancer. Alcohol use is linked to certain types of cancer. Many "medicines" have been shown to cause cancer. There is now at least as much evidence to suggest that caffeine also causes cancer.
It has been known for at least two decades that caffeine is mutagenic and that it damages chromosomes. Due to this effect of caffeine, it is extremely undesirable for very young people and people who can still give birth to children.
Of course, as soon as the age of having children passes, the age of cancer is entered.
Therefore, we must face the fact that there is no period in a person's life when it is safe to use caffeine. The equivalent of 8 cups of coffee or 11 cups of black tea significantly increases the rate of mitosis (cell division) of human lymphocytes far before laboratory equipment can. determined by measurements, lymphocytes feel tanned effects.
Such mitoses represent permanent, abnormal changes in cells, which, if they occur in an unborn child, can produce birth defects. It is no accident that we see an explosion of inborn errors of metabolism in newborn babies.
The association of coffee with bladder cancer in women did not differ regardless of whether decaffeinated, caffeinated, regular or instant coffee was used and regardless of whether it was brewed strong or weak.
According to research, the risk of bladder cancer is slightly lower for men than for women.
Since cancer is caused by changes in chromosomes and cell structure, since it is known that caffeine damages chromosomes, it is reasonable to consider that caffeine has a role in causing cancer and that it should be removed from the diet. research in entire countries, which is not only theoretical. In addition to direct damage to cells, it seems that other factors are necessary before the development of cancer. It seems that viruses and innate susceptibility are necessary.
Cancer viruses probably reside in animals that are pets or that we use for food, and it seems that innate susceptibility arises due to some weakness in the genetic structure of a person. An example of innate weakness would be pale skin and blue eyes as a susceptibility factor for getting skin cancer. Wine flies , as well as human and mouse cells grown in culture, exhibit an inability to repair chromosomal damage when exposed to caffeine.
We all probably know someone who has indulged in a particular bad habit their whole life with no apparent major ill effects. In fact, some of these "survivors" even attribute their longevity to this bad habit. We've all heard old people's jokes when asked about the secret of their long life: "I drink 2 brandies a day", or "I only smoke hand-rolled cigarettes", or "I always drink my coffee black".
But these are literally just the survivors. And yet, we are often ready to accept this kind of advice as wise and proven as an excuse to continue our bad habits.
If a San Francisco newspaper ran a headline that read, "Man in Superman Costume Survives Golden Gate Bridge Jump," how many people would go out, rent a Superman costume, and jump off the bridge thinking they'd found the secret to jumping safely from great heights and keeping cool in water on a hot summer day? You're right, a really small number. All of that, whether it's bridges, caffeine, nicotine or alcohol, is decidedly working against the human race.
It is frightening to think that such a widespread habit as the use of caffeine is most likely weakening the entire human race and producing a permanent loss of certain mental abilities or resistance to diseases through chromosomal mutational damage.
This common and very pleasant habit can be characterized as a type of genocide!
It is possible that the fact that older women have a higher percentage of children with Down syndrome compared to younger women is related to a longer period of repeated exposure to mutagens such as caffeine. Some researchers believe that since caffeine causes some of the same effects in the unborn baby as radiation, it is likely that some of the damage and miscarriages can be attributed to the use of caffeine.
Osteoporosis is not a lack of calcium in the diet!
Not at all. The loss of calcium is caused by an imbalance in the intake of nutrients.
One cup of innocent-looking coffee taken daily causes 1.4% of bone calcium loss per year in women over 50 years of age. That's 14% in ten years!
Far more significant than prescribing estrogen, calcium pills and encouraging milk drinking for osteoporosis is simply advising people to stop using dark drinks and related products.
It is not difficult to find other causes for osteoporosis in the modern world. Fast food contains a lot of phosphate. All carbonated drinks contain phosphates. Read the ingredients on the packaging. As the level of phosphate increases, the level of calcium in the blood decreases. In addition to carbonated drinks, red meat, processed meat, cheese, instant soups and French fries contain a lot of phosphate.
We can easily see why there are so many cases of osteoporosis among women today.
This is not due to a lack of calcium in the diet!
Not at all. The loss of calcium is caused by an imbalance in the intake of nutrients. If you add to the above reasons for bone calcium loss such things as smoking, alcohol, steroids such as cortisone and prednisone (even when used as skin ointments), birth control pills, thyroid supplements, high salt intake, food high in protein, vitamin A or D pills, aluminum-containing antacids, and tetracycline-type antibiotics, you get very strong osteoporosis-causing factors.
We recommend plenty of sunbathing, a vegetarian diet and plenty of exercise to prevent or cure osteoporosis.
Regular servings of legumes (beans and peas), seeds, green leafy vegetables contain as much calcium as equal amounts of milk, and whole grains and vegetables also contain copious amounts of calcium.

Smoking in 15 min. causes genetic damage
Washington, 16.01.2011, 11:20 | AV
The first few puffs of a cigarette can cause genetic damage associated with cancer within 15 minutes to half an hour, according to an American study.
American scientists stated that 'the effect is so rapid that it is equivalent to injecting the substance directly into the bloodstream', which, as the study states, is a 'clear warning' to smokers.
This is the first human study to determine how substances in tobacco cause DNA damage, and was published in the journal 'Chemical Research in Toxicology' by American Chemical Society.
It participated in the study 12 smokers, and scientists investigated the effect of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) that are created during the combustion of tobacco, wood or coal, and can also be found in grilled meat.
In particular, they monitored the chemical compound phenanthrene in the blood of smokers and saw that it creates a toxic substance known to 'cause DNA mutations that can cause cancer'.
"Smokers developed maximum levels of this substance in a time frame that surprised even scientists: only 15 to 30 minutes after study participants smoked a cigarette," the study states. These results should serve as a clear warning to those who intend to start smoking,' said the head of the research Stephen Hecht.
A glass of wine a day increases the risk of cancer by 168 percent
French scientists made a shocking discovery. Contrary to previous beliefs, just half a glass of wine a day increases the risk of getting cancer by as much as 160 percent, they claim.
Research conducted by the National Institute for Cancer Research in Paris showed that around 125 milliliters of wine per day increases the risk of colon cancer by nine percent, while the risk of mouth or throat cancer increases by an alarming 168 percent.
The president of the institute, Dominique Maraninchi, says: 'Small daily doses of alcohol are the most harmful. There is no amount, no matter how small, that is good for health.'
This finding supports earlier findings that alcohol increases the risk of some types of cancer. Drinking alcohol in combination with smoking further increases the risk.
Research conducted so far by the World Cancer Research Foundation has shown that alcohol increases the risk of mouth, throat, vocal cord, colon, liver and breast cancer.
The risk is higher the higher the consumption, and so far it has not been confirmed that there is a certain amount of alcohol that does not increase the risk of cancer.
It is widely believed that small amounts of alcohol are good for heart health, but today experts claim that these studies from the 80s led to wrong results.
RESEARCH: Suntan lotion blocks the production of vitamin D by as much as 99 percent
Over the last few decades, the mainstream media has spread such fear about skin cancer that most of us religiously put on sunscreen as soon as we step outside.
While it's certainly important to take precautions to prevent skin damage that can lead to melanoma, it's just as important to get enough sun exposure to ensure our bodies can produce vitamin D3.
This vitamin is absolutely essential for maintaining healthy bones and teeth, insulin regulation, good cardiovascular health, and a strong immune system, among other things.
Low levels of vitamin D are associated with an increased risk of cancer, Alzheimer's disease, depression and other serious illnesses.
The results of a recent study by the American Osteopathic Association revealed that close to 1 billion people on our planet are deficient in vitamin D, so the results are truly alarming.
The researchers found that this deficiency can be attributed to lack of sun exposure, chronic illness and the use of sunscreens that reduce vitamin D production by a staggering 99 percent.
The human body only produces vitamin D when the skin is exposed to direct sunlight.
Too much sunlight + too much sunscreen = serious health problems
Spending too much time indoors, playing video games and looking at electronic devices combined with too little time spent outdoors seriously contributes to the problem of low vitamin D levels.
Additionally, as pointed out at the outset, during the short amount of time most of us manage to spend outdoors, exposed skin is usually covered in sunscreen.
The realization of the problem is the fact that diseases such as Crohn's disease and celiac disease additionally negatively affect the ability of some people to metabolize vitamin D from food sources, for whom exposure to sunlight is even more important.
In addition, very few foods provide significant levels of vitamin D, which means that maintaining adequate levels of this hormone through diet alone is nearly impossible.
What complicates the situation even more is that the vitamin D is synthesized in combination with other vitamins and minerals such as magnesium in order to properly perform all its functions in the body.
"People spend little time outdoors, and when they do go out, they usually wear sunscreen, which basically shuts down the body's ability to produce vitamin D," said Kim Pfotenhauer, a member of the research team who is an assistant professor at Touro University.
"While we want people to protect themselves from skin cancer, there are healthy, moderate levels of unprotected sun exposure that can be very beneficial in stimulating vitamin D production."
"You don't have to sunbathe on the beach to produce enough vitamin D," said Dr. Pfotenhauer. "A simple walk in a T-shirt and shorts is enough for most people."
A prominent neurophysiologist warns: 'While a child plays video games, his brain reacts in the same way as if he were taking drugs'
Our children are getting weaker and weaker in tests conducted throughout Central Europe. They are motorically weaker, their concentration is weaker, their attention is also weaker, as well as their general knowledge, and they have a poorer vocabulary. Analyzes show that each generation is getting weaker and weaker. The question is what will happen to our children if we stick to the same teaching methods. The answer is clear, it will be weaker
Parenting is a very serious business. Much, much more serious than 30 or 40 years ago - says the author of the NTC (Nikola Tesla Center) learning system, doctor and neurophysiologist from Novi Sad, Ranko Rajović. The member of Mensa International's Board of Directors and president of Mensa's World Committee for Gifted Children explains his assertion about the difficulty of today's parenting by the fact that the environment that affects brain development is constantly changing, but the methods we use to teach remain the same.
The NTC program was created as a result of the desire to enable children to realize their personal potential, but also as a need to overcome increasingly present difficulties such as speech, reading and writing disorders. The goal of his method is to develop opinions, and this is one of the most important reasons for the success of the NTC program, which received the World Mensa Award in 2015, for its contribution to the development of society as a whole. The primary role of the NTC program is the use of new discoveries from the field of neuroscience in classrooms and in everyday life, and its program is composed of various activities and games for children, which are based on knowledge about the development and functioning of the brain and which, as many studies show, have a positive effect on brain development in the period when it is most important, in the period of the most intensive growth and development, from birth until approximately ten years of age. Play as a child's inner motivation is a key factor of the NTC program. Rajović teaches neuroscience at faculties in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia, about how to teach children, why today's children have problems with concentration, where teachers make the most mistakes when working with children, whether mistakes can be corrected, why children today are getting weaker, this spoke this week at an education session at the "Milan Brozović" Primary School in Kastav.
Volunteer program
That school, he announces, will most likely soon become a school where the NTC section for the gifted will be opened, and it will be a volunteer program intended for all children from the Rijeka area. At the same time, says the author of this popular method, the first kindergarten that will work entirely according to the NTC method will soon be opened in Rijeka.
- The kindergarten is being established, and it will be called "Planet of Imagination" and it will be the first such institution in Croatia. Namely, there are many institutions in Croatia that have gone through EU projects as part of which they worked on the NTC program, and there were also many national conferences and seminars that I conducted. So there are institutions that apply that method, but this is the first institution that plans to fully apply NTC and which will be a reference institution for the surrounding cities as well, because it is unquestionable that it is necessary to include new innovative methods in teaching children. We see that our children are getting weaker and weaker in tests that were conducted throughout Central Europe. They are motorically weaker, their concentration is weaker, their attention is also weaker, as well as their general knowledge, and they have a poorer vocabulary. We are talking about six-year-olds, and the teachers themselves say that each new generation is weaker than the previous two generations. So, the analyzes show that each generation is getting weaker and weaker. The question is what will happen to our children if we stick to the same teaching methods. Will it be better or even weaker. The answer is clear, it will be weaker. It means that we have to introduce something urgently. It is necessary to introduce novelties that will help the child's biological development. If we do not change the working methods, we cannot expect future generations to be better off.
What are the methods that will give us better generations?
- This is a lot of work. The environment that affects the development of the brain is changing and if it changes, and we leave the same methods, there will be problems. The first problem is that children today have a different cognitive style. We adults have deep attention to a problem and can go into that problem for half an hour or an hour. It is not difficult for us, but our children cannot do it. This is called hyper-attention. This is because the environment is different, children receive hundreds of pieces of information today, and as one, two... fifth... tenth piece of information arrives, the brain has to process it, and in that process the brain does not have time for deep processing. The anatomical structure of the brain literally changes, and this is also shown by recent research. In that situation, a child with hyperattention has to study at school and have deep attention, but he can't, and we have the same methods and we see that the methods from 20 years ago don't help. There will always be children who can learn, but there are more and more children who cannot.
Lifetime damage
You often emphasize the mistakes that parents make in early childhood. What are they?
- True, because if we make a mistake in the period up to the age of six, if the brain develops differently from ours, it is a lifelong impairment of some cognitive abilities. For example, you have video games and smartphones. I am in favor of new technology, but one must know the limit, but when parents give their child a mobile phone, there are no more limits. I've been repeating for years, don't buy a mobile phone for a child until the age of ten, maybe not even until the age of thirteen or fourteen, and if they've already bought one, because they say everyone has one, then I advise them to set a limit of half an hour of use. However, then the parents come with the story that the children secretly go to the toilet twice for 15 minutes or get up in the night to play games, and in the morning they cannot wake up. When they go home from school, they sit for half an hour and are on their mobile phones. This means that they spend two or three hours a day on the phone, and when a child looks at that phone, it sends hundreds of impulses to the brain. The brain has to process it, and this speed of processing does not have time for deep processing, and these incoming impulses activate the dopamine endophilic receptors, and the endophilic receptors give a feeling of happiness and relaxation. These are actually morphine receptors, because morphine has such effects. When a child watches video games and passes one, two, or three levels, he is full of dopamine and endorphins. It's almost like taking drugs. Then we have a real situation where parents can no longer stop it. The parents limit the use to half an hour, but the child violates this, then the parents take away the phone, and the result is the child crying, refusing food and going to school, so the parent relents. And then this situation repeats itself every couple of days and there is no end to it. There are parents who come to my lectures desperate because they don't know what to do. As good as these phones are, they are also dangerous, and that's why we have to educate parents. The child should be allowed to develop naturally on the playground, in the forest or in the park with as little new technology as possible. Even before school, he should be given tasks that stimulate thinking, such as the question "Who follows you every day on a sunny day?". Most five-year-olds respond to mom or dad, not a shadow.
In practice, do you encounter the extremely serious problem of dependence on technologies?
- That is a special story. These are sad stories of parents who are as desperate as if they had a drug addict at home. A child screams if their mobile phone is taken away. I have a friend who went to the sea with his son for ten days and the son did not want to go to the beach. He played games in the room all day. But parents usually hide it, and that's why we have to develop parents' awareness that it's harmful.
Speech disorder
It is unquestionable that in schools there are more and more students with difficulties, especially speech difficulties. Are we to blame for that?
- Speech delay is becoming more common. In schools, more than 50 percent of children have a speech disorder, the same number have flat feet, and the same percentage also have a fine motor disorder, i.e. finger movements are not sufficiently developed. These are important indicators that large regions of the brain are not developed, and if this is not developed, there are problems with concentration, reading and writing. A speech disorder is the first sign that something is wrong with the brain. I mean serious disorders when a child speaks mechanically, not when he can't pronounce ч, ж, ш. There are many types of disorders and situations where children of three or four years old have not yet spoken. Parents make all sorts of mistakes, and it's not just video games. Mistakes start already in pregnancy, from diet to alcohol consumption or smoking. All this affects the child's brain. With birth, mistakes continue, so you have parents who do not give their child solid food until the age of three, and solid food activates language and movements that are important for speech. There is no solid food, no movement of the tongue and we enter a speech disorder. Or even worse, there is no hard food, there is no cleaning of the teeth and cavities occur. Therefore, parents must be educated.
Play is a key factor in the NTC program, and in this sense, you are a big advocate of children's movement and that of "natural" movement?
– Because a lot of movement activates large regions of the brain. If there is not much movement, there is no activation of these regions. That's why I say that the best movement is the natural one. Let the parents remember what they did as children, they climbed trees, ran, jumped in puddles of water... through these games the children were preparing for life. Childhood serves to prepare us for life and thus the brain develops. Children have always imitated games that will prepare them for life, namely running, hiding, climbing, crawling. It still has to be that way in order for the brain to develop. I'm not completely against new technologies. New technologies are good, but the time of their use should be determined, because the most important thing for the brain is movement.
Reserve capacities
You are of the opinion that parents are the first and most important teachers and they influence almost all aspects of children's development, and after parents there are teachers. Do the teachers accept the methods you offer them?
- You have teachers who are ready to learn something and apply something new, and you also have those who change something a little, but unfortunately we also have those who say "No, they are students. It is theirs to learn". I tell them, "Wait, if you see that they are getting weaker. It's not worth telling them to learn when you see that they won't." And then I explain neurophysiology and the fact that our children's brains are different. We have to change the working methods and help them. There were children with these disorders before, but very few. Schools see that something needs to change. Teachers come to lectures, and I teach from Norway to Greece in 28 countries, and when the teachers see the whole process, they accept it. A very important part of the program is illogical stories because the brain works better when something is illogical. Then it includes reserve capacities. For example, the line "Our mother would fly to the world". When I tell teachers and educators to draw that verse, they draw mom in an airplane and that's typical for adults, while 5-year-olds draw mom with wings on her head. The child knows that wings do not grow from the head, but he should not be restrained in such thinking. If we constantly tell a child that he can't do something, we close the associative regions, and in these regions there is creative thinking and divergent production, which is important tomorrow for giftedness.
Counterfeit NTC in circulation
In addition to innovative work methods for concrete problems of new generations, do you also offer other solutions?
- We are currently developing the application "NTC GREEN" for mobile phones, which limits the use of the Internet to 30 minutes, and if the child wants a bonus of 20 additional minutes of use, he will have to travel four kilometers. So they will have to move. The application will be available in two months. Parents can find all information and advice on the website ntchrvatska.com. We are also working on the problem of deep attention, and for that we designed the game "No fear of chess". The game is similar to chess, but it is not chess. Children show great interest in this game and it, like the application, will be available in Croatia in two months. It takes a lot of effort, knowledge and patience to help develop creative abilities, to introduce innovative methods based on neurophysiology and thus prevent the negative impact of a rapidly changing environment. And finally, I must emphasize, for the protection of children, that unverified books and manuals that refer to me or NTC have started to circulate, and which I have not professionally reviewed, nor approved, because some NTC methods are incorrectly explained.
