Water - an element of vital importance for life - is an indispensable factor in nature without which there is no life. Such a presence of water represents another proof in the series of generosity of allies and friends - nature. From ordinary mineral and thermal water, from crystalline water springs that crash against cold giant rocks, to the most modern hospital complexes, water flows, whether we know it or not, to enrich the array of God's natural tools for improving health. We will stop, therefore, for a moment, in order to decipher and interpret the whisper of the wonderful water noise that joins us on the way to complete delight: "WATER". It is nature's message to man.

Water is so important that God set aside an entire day for its creation. We can't live without her. It is a universal liquid that keeps us clean, inside and out. Not only is it not possible to live without water, but it is as if God built our entire body from the substance that He has so abundantly provided. Water has an unusual electrical characteristic that separates it from most other liquids. As you know, the molecular composition of water is H2O, two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom. That is why each water molecule has a slight positive charge on one side and a slight negative charge on the other. This characteristic allows water molecules to bond very easily with other nearby molecules.
Water dissolves and washes away dirt. It transports food to every cell in our body and then removes harmful substances produced by our body. Also, water helps carry oxygen and disease-fighting mechanisms whenever our body needs it. In addition to lubricating our joints, it prevents our skin from drying out.

We need at least eight glasses of water a day, regardless of whether we feel thirsty. Thirst is not a good indicator that we need water. That signal often goes off before we get drunk enough. Just as we depend on water, we also depend on God, and the Bible uses water many times to illustrate our dependence on God. God knew that we would be able to understand the importance of water for our physical and mental health, so He used this need to remind us of the importance of our spiritual dependence on Him. The fact that we do not feel spiritual thirst does not mean that we have drunk enough of the water that Christ promises to give us immeasurably. It is necessary that we drink God's gift deeply and every day.

There is no blessing of water only through consumption, but also through other techniques that can improve our health.

One of these techniques is a very mild bath, which is done by dipping your feet in warm water, which can contribute to strengthening your immunity and other mild ailments:

The power of water and changes in mental health (humility) come from the Bible:

"Naaman, the commander of the Aramean king, was a respectable man, and respected before his master, because through him Yahweh gave victory to the Arameans. But that excellent warrior was a leper."

Word of the problem reached Elisha, so he sent a message to the king and said, “Why did you tear your clothes? Let him come to me and see for himself that there is a prophet in Israel."

"And so Naaman arrived with his horses and chariots, and stood before the door of Elisha's house." Through the messenger, the prophet told him: "Go and bathe seven times in the Jordan, and your body will be clean again."

Naaman expected to see some miraculous manifestation of the power of the heavenly powers. He said: "Look, I thought, he will come out before me, he will call on the name of Jehovah, his God, he will put his hand on the sick place and take away my leprosy." When he was told to bathe in the Jordan, his pride was hurt. Irritated and disappointed, he exclaimed: "Aren't the rivers of Damascus, Abana and Parpar, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn't I bathe in them to become clean? He turned and left angry."

The haughty spirit of Naaman resisted obeying the instruction given to him by Elisha. The rivers mentioned by the Assyrian general flowed through beautiful groves, and many came to their banks to pray to their idol deities. It would be no great humiliation for Naaman to descend to the banks of one of those wonderful rivers. However, only obedience to the prophet's clear instructions could bring him healing. Only voluntary obedience can bring the desired consequences.

The servants began to persuade Naaman to listen to Elisha's instructions: "My father, if the prophet had appointed you even harder, wouldn't you have done it? And what about when he told you: Take a bath, and you will be clean." Naaman's faith was put to the test, while pride fought for supremacy. But faith prevailed, and the proud Assyrian suppressed the pride of his heart and humbly submitted to the revealed will of the Lord. Seven times he threw himself into the waves of the Jordan, "according to the words of the man of God". His faith was rewarded, "and his body became like that of a small child again - he cleansed himself!"

This chapter is based on the text in 2 Kings 5.
