High cholesterol cannot be noticed, because it does not reflect any symptoms. Symptoms can only be due to atherosclerosis and hypertension. Cholesterol is a fatty, wax-like substance found in all cells of the body. Is used for
building cells, creating hormones and helping with food digestion. Your liver makes all the cholesterol
which you need. However, it is also found in foods of animal origin (including dairy products), animal fat and hydrogenated oils. Excess cholesterol accumulates in your fat reserves and along the inner walls of the arteries. Thus, together with blood clots and scar tissue, a fibrous plaque is slowly formed. The ultimate consequence of that process is atherosclerosis.

Here are some facts about cholesterol to help you better understand what it's all about

Cholesterol is most abundant in meat and eggs. One egg contains 275 mg, while an apple contains no cholesterol at all.
Serum cholesterol is found in your bloodstream. This is what doctors measure by drawing blood. Ideally, it should be below 200 mg/dl. There are two types of this cholesterol:
HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol cleans the arteries and is good for your health. The higher its level, the better.
LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol clogs arteries and is not good for your health. The lower the better.
There are several natural ways to lower LDL cholesterol levels in the blood. For each percentage drop in cholesterol levels, the risk of heart attack is reduced by 2%. The ideal cholesterol level is between 170 and 190 mg/dl. If it is below 150, then the risk of death from other causes, such as liver cancer, lung disease and certain types of strokes, increases.

What are better solutions?

Diet - Do not eat saturated fats, which are found in meat, butter, cheese and hydrogenated oils, and these are the worst types of fats, because they raise cholesterol levels the most. Consume only polyunsaturated fats through food, because they lower cholesterol levels. They are found only in certain types of vegetable oils, such as corn, soybean, wheat germ or flaxseed oils. Buy only cold-pressed oils, never hydrogenated (not even partially hydrogenated). Oil sold in stores is mostly hydrogenated. Never ingest cottonseed oil. Eating too much food during a meal causes the production of enzymes that stimulate the liver to produce more cholesterol. So eat to your heart's content. Do not eat anything that is fried. And more importantly, don't eat anything fried in fat. Avoid fast food restaurants. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to thin the blood. You need them to keep cholesterol-absorbing fiber flowing through your body. Lecithin is great for mixing fat and cholesterol, so that the body can use them or expel them. It is found in whole grains (without sugar). Cold-pressed oils from wheat germ, linseed and olive oil from ripe (black) olives are the best. Prepare meals without oil or fat. And when you put them on the table, pour a spoonful or two of wheat germ oil or linseed oil or olive oil over the food.

That way, you will know how much you have added and you will know that the oil has not been cooked. It is also safe to use monounsaturated fatty acids, as they have also been found to reduce cholesterol levels. Foods that contain them are as follows: olive oil (oil from ripe (black) olives), nuts, avocados and peanut oil. Monounsaturated oils lower cholesterol faster than a low-fat diet; and that, they only lower bad LDL cholesterol. Avocado is the type of food that contains the most fat, but despite this, it lowers cholesterol. Nuts lower cholesterol somewhat, especially walnuts. Soybeans and other legumes are also good.

Additional tips

Do not eat fried and fatty foods, meat, baked goods with vegetables, etc., as well as processed and fast foods, regular peanut butter. Peanut oil has been removed from it and replaced with cheap hydrogenated oil. Butter from
buy peanuts only in health food stores. You can open the lid and smell it. Learn how to recognize healthy food by smell. Do not eat chips, crackers and refined sweets. Eggs contain a lot of cholesterol (275 mg per egg), research has shown that they do not increase cholesterol to an excessive extent. This is because the yolk is rich in both cholesterol and lecithin, which dissolves it. Eat more fruits and legumes, because they contain pectin that surrounds cholesterol and expels it from the body. Pectin is found in all kinds of fruits and legumes. One of the best sources of pectin is apple pectin, which is an integral part of the Intestine #2 formula that cleanses your colon, you can read more about this product HERE.
You need 6 g of water-soluble fiber every day. They are found in fruits, vegetables, cereals, nuts and legumes. Corn, rice and oat bran lower LDL, but do not change the level of HDL cholesterol. Insoluble fiber in wheat bran protects against colon cancer, but does not lower cholesterol. Oat bran lowers it as well as pectin. Make oat bran scones and eat one or two every day. Oatmeal is also good.

Fresh garlic lowers cholesterol (and high blood pressure), but cooked or unscented onions do not. Celery juice lowers it significantly. All plants contain phytosterols, which reduce cholesterol levels. Integral or black sesame seeds have the most of them. Os tala foods that contain larger amounts are: sunflower seeds, lettuce, asparagus, okra, cauliflower, figs, strawberries, red onion, pumpkin, apricot, tomato and celery.

Physical activity lowers cholesterol, while intense physical activity lowers LDL and increases HDL cholesterol.
Do not consume coffee, tobacco and alcohol, because they increase the level of LDL. Carbon monoxide damages the walls of the arteries, so plaque begins to build up. Here are more herbs that lower cholesterol:
Ginger, fenugreek, barley, spirulina. Activated charcoal has a strong effect against LDL (40%) and raises HDL levels (8%), when 7-8 mg is taken 3 times a day an hour before or after meals. But it also absorbs other substances. Sunlight helps control cholesterol levels.

We noticed that following a healthy lifestyle, cleaning the intestines and liver showed excellent results in reducing bad cholesterol.

Healthy lifestyle:

1. Drink a sufficient amount of clean non-carbonated water every day. We recommend that you drink verified spring water or purchased still water, which is less evil than that from the tap, or that you get a reverse osmosis filter. Along with clean water, you can also drink freshly squeezed juice or herbal tea (chamomile or mint or ginger...). Completely avoid teas that are diuretics: nettle, dandelion, bearberry, green tea...and coffee... To get an accurate calculation of how much fluid you need to drink, divide your body weight by thirty (kg of body mass: 30 and that's the minimum). For example, if you have 60 kg :30= 2L. So, you should drink 2 liters of water throughout the day. This example is given only if it is winter, spring or autumn, if it is summer the fluid intake should be increased.

* If you sleep or often stay in a room where the air is dry, you can dehydrate

*If your skin is dry after a shower, this happens due to chlorine contained in the city water, a great solution is to buy a shower filter with activated carbon

If you have a small urination at night and it deprives you of normal sleep, drink the last water until 18, 17 or even 4: 00.

2.Exercise at least 3x a week (sweat during training)
Do strength exercises, cardio (aerobic)training and stretching exercises.

3. Breakfast in the morning: a variety of seasonal organic fruit, sunflower seeds (not fried nor salty, sunflower is an excellent source natural magnesium), whole wool, full-bodied sesame and optional chia or pumpkin seeds...) and a handful of nuts (almonds or walnuts or hazelnuts or cashews or peanuts (unsalted)), 5-8 tablespoons of peeled oats or buckwheat that has been left overnight in a cup (500 ml) of water. In the morning, strain and rinse well and then mix with the other ingredients. Cereals are not cooked! Or you can use whole wheat bread (without sugar) instead. You can season the fruit salad with a spoonful of honey, agave syrup or almond spread or the like and, if desired, a little ground cinnamon.

4-5 hours after breakfast lunch: a variety of seasonal organic raw vegetables with sunflower seeds (unroasted threads salty, sunflower is an excellent source natural magnesium), whole wool, full-bodied sesame and if desired chia or pumpkin seeds...) and a handful of nuts (almonds or walnuts or hazelnuts or cashews or peanuts try to find in the shell), boiled legumes, beans or lentils or chickpeas or peas or green beans or broad beans (if you lose weight increase portion of some legume in a vegetable salad) and cooked grain (wheat or hulled oats or barley or rye or buckwheat or millet...). The salad can be seasoned with cold-pressed olive oil, 8 to 12 cloves of raw garlic (for even stronger immunity, cleaner blood and clean blood vessels), onion, avocado (if you are losing weight, increase the proportion of avocado (2-3 pieces) in the vegetable salad) and spices (rosemary, basil, hot pepper, thyme, oregano...).

For dessert, eat a healthy combination of nuts or seeds with honey.

4-5 hours after lunch dinner: only fruit with a handful of nuts (almonds or nuts or hazelnuts) or if you feel a lack of energy dinner should be the same as breakfast.

Mandatory : during meals do not drink any liquid only after 1-2h

4.Rest enough and on time (no later than 21:00 h in winter or 22:00 h in summer) and in complete darkness. If you're not completely dark in the room where you sleep, get a sleep blindfold. The link can be obtained at the DM. If you have trouble sleeping, let someone massage you before going to bed and increase the amount of physical activity during the day.

5. Daily exposure to sunlight for 1 hour a day due to vitamin D. If you have sensitive skin, gradually sunbathe and use common sense. Being in the fresh air every day, outside the city where air is most often polluted, and such air can reduce the absorption of vitamin D.

6. Avoidance of all poisons (coffee, green tea, black tea, cigarettes, drugs, chemicals, alcohol, refined sweets...). If you get a headache when you stop drinking coffee, you should increase your fluid intake by 0.5L or even 1L + of course your minimum that you should drink every day (see item no. 1) and the headaches will disappear very quickly. If it is difficult for you to give up coffee, drink Divka grain coffees and similar.
